Im trying to find something legal, free, and working with apple ipods. Thank you soooo much for answering this question. I will give 10 points!!!! Just let me know if its for movies, music, or both!

Limewire is the best all you have to do to keep out spam and adult themes is filter them out, the interface is kool and as long as you get it from limewire.com it doesn’t have any bugs,
I live in Canada and it IS legal here but im not sure about wherever you live,

what i use is frostwire
I’m scared to use Limewire and a lot of people tell me I shouldn’t so I use a simple file sharing website (4shared.com) to get my music.
Edit: It works fine with the iPod.
I have an iPod and that’s where I put my music from 4shared.
Edit: I recommend just using it for music because Videos and stuff aren’t the best from the website. Also, you don’t have to download some huge application. You just download the song you want and that’s it. There’s no limit on how much you can download.
It depends what country you’re living in, but there really isn’t any legal way to do this.
But basically…the simplest program to use is Limewire (lots of music and some movies).
Another option is torrents, which is slightly more complicated, but offers a much bigger database of music, movies, photos, games, programs, etc. If you’re interested in this I suggest http://www.isohunt.com.

Music deserves to be paid for, or you don’t really appreciate it enough to deserve it.
There are two websites that offer free music through Apple’s app.
But, those are only for iPOD Touch and iPhone. And you didn’t mention which iPod you have.
use lime wire but becarefull what you download because it could be harmfull to your pc.
to get videos you need a converter that can change the resolution and the size of the screen, plus the type of file that the ipod is compatible with.
you can get realplayer and download lots of videos or whatever you watch that i not live but you still have to convert them
You can download free music from garageband.com. It’s not from anyone you’ve heard of yet, but you can find some great stuff there.
