"Duck Soup" has the Marx Brothers as Groucho becomes the Prime Minister of Freedonia (Hail, hail Freedonia, Land of the free and brave!) "A Hard Day's Night" stars The Beatles in a Marx-esque romp about the boys and the efforts to get them on stage, on time, for a television event. "Annie Get Your Gun" Big, colorful show about the romance between famous sharpshooter Annie Oakley and her husband, Frank Butler. "The Wizard of Oz" The granddaddy of Technicolor musicals, and arguably the very best. I recently re-watched it, and it's amazing. Even the little dog hits all his cues! “Oklahoma!” was the first musical where the songs actually tied in with the plot.

The movie doesn't do it justice. Go see it in person if you ever get the chance! I think you may have seen the best already.. Oklahoma? look for some of the older ones like My Fair Lady, Singing in the rain and such. They're always good and don't spoil the magic of the musical special effects etc The Producers guys and Dolls .The list goes on and on.... I also enjoy the good ol' Disney Cartoons :D Steer clear of Phantom of the opers. The movie doesn’t do it justice. Go see it in person if you ever get the chance!
