Q&A: Trying to find a classic piece of movie music?

Question by Serosis of the Liver: Trying to find a classic piece of movie music?
This is going to be extremely vague, but I thought I would give it a shot. I am looking for a piece of movie music. I have heard this piece of music in many movies, but usually I would hear it in movies which show something having to do with the ’50′s. It is a very jazzy and mambo kind of piece with a lot of horns. Like I said, this is very vague, but heck, it is worth a shot.

…I think that I know what musical piece that you are looking for; being a ‘fright film fan’, a horror movie comes to mind, which has a distinct ’50′s flavor, and was called “Parents”. The soundtrack of the film had a thematic piece, with a very, as you said, ‘jazzy and mambo’ type of riff, and indeed had a large perponderance of horns. I believe that the piece that you are looking for, is “Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White”….
