Q&A: Royalty free music? Movie making question? Is there an App for that?

Question by Miss Pink Princess: Royalty free music? Movie making question? Is there an App for that?
I do fashion videos on youtube ( youtube.com/divaglamfabxoxo ) and I use iMovie to edit my videos. I want more of a variety for music to add as tracks to the background of my videos iMovie has their own selection but i want more lol. Is there an app for that? Or is there a website where I can use songs that won’t come up with a copyright issue?

Well you must be just using the iLife soundtracks. You can scroll down the music section to find iTunes. There, you can get your iTunes music.

The audio swap feature in YouTube only uses a very small fraction of the total amount of creative commons music. For a better selection use http://search.creativecommons.org/ – you want the search results from Jamendo, Europeana and SpinXpress. Remember to read the license aggreement for whatever you’re using.

Worth taking a look at is this site and its sources – http://mediacommons.psu.edu/freemedia also http://www.archive.org/details/etree
